DIY - Ribbon rose shoes

Final Product:
I bought these flats at H&M a year ago and I stopped wearing them last summer because I bought new flats. I found a picture of flats with fabric/ribbon flowers on them and I thought "I can make those!"

Inspiration:

Materials:
An old pair of shoes of your choice (I did flats to demonstrate my inspiration)
23 1/2 inches (60 centimeters) of ribbon
Needle and thread, hot glue gun, and scissors

Step One: How to make the ribbon rose, watch this video:

Step Two: Sew the rose closed and cut off the remaining ribbon
Step Three: Hot glue the ribbon roses wherever desired on the shoes
(Note: If you want bigger roses, use longer and/or wider ribbon)
